Lynn Acheson Molly Armstrong
Lynn Acheson writes: I am writing to you from my home in Derby in the UK. Being a relatively newcomer to paper piecing, this is my first go at one of your mysteries. I am currently making a kimono quilt, so I used some of my fabrics from that project in the four tea-cups.
...I enjoy making paper piecing samples, but am not one for having loads of things hanging on the wall. At least this way, I get to see my creation every day. Looking forward to the next mystery.
Molly Armstrong writes: Cute little tea cups! I had fun pulling together the wacky prints for this.
Linda Barnes Teresa Catlett
Linda Barnes writes: This is my version of the mystery challenge. I used wallet size pictures of butterflies for the fabric choices A-D.
I tried to make the cups look like they are sitting on a fancy tray.
Mary Campbell writes: I did the four teacups and scanned the block but it looked too lumpy for you to do a picture. So just put me downas one who did it.
In the future I will TRY mot to be so lumpy!
Teresa Catlett writes: Here is a photo of My Quilters Tea Cups block number 69 along with a close up shot of the teabag I added.
Your patterns are always a pleasure, thanks for sharing.
Renate writes: My solution Mystery 69.
It'll be pretty much like a Mug Rug.
