100 Flower

One of seven blocks I designed to celebrate the 100th Mystery in Nov 2021 (I only showed two). We also had a drawing featuring this block. See the Four 100s block here.

99 Bottles of Beer

This pattern is available for sale.

Never been a drinker myself, but "99" begs for beer!

I remember singing this all the way through just once--as a kid on a bus going to swimming lessons back in the late 60s.

Per Wikipedia: "99 Bottles of Beer is an anonymous sea shanty dating to the mid-20th century."

Friendly Froggy

I like this cute little guy. I'm making mine into a wallhanging for a guest room.

Four Aces

This pattern is available for sale.

I grew up with card games.

As a kid I played... go fish . . . war . . . three different solitaires . . . contract rummy . . . 500 rummy . . . canasta . . . four kings in a corner . . . crazy eights . . . uno

Over the years with adult friends... screw your neighbor . . . pinochle . . . euchre . . . cribbage (grandma's fave)

On the computer...spider solitaire . . . freecell

Played once or twice... spoons . . . poker (never got into it!) . . . hearts . . . blackjack . . . slap jack . . . gin rummy

Too frightened to learn... bridge

And, for the past 10-15 years, we've been stuck on... hand and foot

What did you play?

Mary & Jesus

This pattern is available for sale.

I believe it was the halo fabric around Jesus' head that made me think of doing this one.

Gone Camping

This pattern is available for sale.

Never warmed up to camping, myself. (Well, not as a kid... as the oldest, every job seemed to come my way.) It rather appeals if it were just me and hubby, though :).

Update: After 30 years we finally did pull out the tent one last time and camped just one night in summer 2022. I didn't think it was too bad, but husband hated it. If we could have left the tent standing with a "free tent" sign on it, we would have. :D

See Your Solutions

This pattern is available for sale.

Never had one of these, but they seemed to be rather popular with knitters at the time I designed this!
