SHARING YOUR PROJECTS
January 2022 | I am happy to display photos of your paper-pieced projects.
Merry Moose by Sally Rudy
Gosh this was intense! But I knew it would turn out. Taking to my longarm lady for a proper quilting tomorrow. Thank you for your lovely patterns! (I must say that during a few rip outs, I might not have said that!) Happy Holidays!

Valentine Dog by Jean Francis
I just finished this to send to my daughter for her February wall quilt. Love your designs! ...Doggies colors represent each of my daughter’s family member’s pets.

Advent Nativity by Ellen Abshier
I finally made the advent nativity, though I enlarged so it would hang over my piano! I also chose to leave out the dog and cat, and ended up with an appliquéd center star due to an accident with my seam ripper 😆. But I absolutely love it! Thank you for a beautiful pattern. ...Meant to tell your instructions were awesome... particularly helpful to me was the notes on choosing fabrics and colors. Thanks!

Snowglobe by Jean Francis
This was so much fun to make! I love your designs.

Gnome Christmas Card by Peggy Rash
Glad my greeting arrived safely and found such a warm welcome!! Gnomes need good homes! I did design the little guy myself . . . Making me all the more appreciative of your gift for making such patterns and honored that you like what I did!! It is not easy to find small paper pieced designs that may be used for cards even though paper piecing is the only way that I find making the little gems a reasonable undertaking.

This is Peggy's personal pattern.

MB100 by Peggy Rash
I couldn’t get to the Mystery #100 until after I finished my PT following reconstructive surgery on my right thumb...and just now read where Mystery #100 is the last mystery. I therefore wanted to be sure to show you that I really did finish mine, just not in time!! I truly, truly, truly will miss the mysteries. They have brought so much joy just when needed.

Hawaiian Shirt Ornaments by Tricia Blanchard
Hi! I wanted to show you how I adapted your pieced shirt pattern into a non-paper pieced Christmas ornament. I love how they turned out, and plan to do more with scraps from a memory quilt I'm making out of my dad's Hawaiian shirt collection.
Would it be ok to link to your pattern and explain how to print it out and add 1/4" seam allowances?
[Here's a link to her blog post.] I had so much fun making these, and I'm hoping to make a bunch in the coming year.

Jane's Stocking by Joan Coddington
I got the project done, at least! I reduced the pattern 60% but it still was a little big -8”. But we made it work ;). For my 14th grandchild, Jane.

Christmas Pillow by Meg Walker, Birmingham, Alabama
I just wanted to share my finish for MB97. I’m very thankful for you giving away this pattern for free, and I love my Christmas pillow!
