Her pendant and the dress right below had some issues. But I still love her!

Horse and Sleigh
by Joyce Crosby
(Click photo to see project.) I contacted you just before Christmas to ask if it was ok to enlarge the horse and sleigh... Well it is done and I am thrilled as it fits exactly where I wanted it to fit. I have added bells to the shaft on the sleigh. I also googled the music for Jingle Bells for flutes (both of my grandkids play the flute). After I checked with them for accuracy, I free-motioned the first bar in the large open space above the horse and sleigh. While the music doesn't stand out , in the light it will be in, it does show up. My husband helped me hang it and remarked that it was a little early for Christmas decorations....he can be a little sassy😊
Thank you so much, Linda. I am now on to your Nutcracker and then your Oh Holy Night. So, next Christmas, there will be four Paper Panache pieces in our living room. I did the Advent Nativity a while ago.

Witchy Halloween
by Martina Buehling, Munich, Germany
I am sending you my Witchy Halloween wall hanging. I sewed the top of the wall hanging from leftover fabric. Only the binding and backing are made of new fabric. It's a wonderful pattern!

Guild Swap
by Nora Melzer, Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild, BC, Canada
This is a mini quilt I made for a guild swap. We had to use Guild colours, solid fabrics only, and the size could not be more than 10x10 inches. I loved the Hawaiian shirt pattern but I wanted more of a T-shirt look. I made the V-neck T-shirt with a bias strip of green silk, with another bias strip for the hem. The rest are Kona cotton solids. The pattern is the perfect size for mini projects like this. Thank you!

Family Tree
by Shanda Finnigan, Richmond, VA
My stepmother has made a quilt (or two) for everyone in our family (5 kids + their spouses and 9 grandkids), and I decided that I should make her a quilt in return. Your Family Tree design was exactly what I was looking for...I used it as a guide to create an expanded version that was roughly 46 x 68 inches, with 19 hearts and one in the middle for my dad and stepmom. I got all 9 grandkids and 10 kids/spouses to secretly sign their names and then we presented it to her the next night. She was floored and loved it. This was my first quilt project, my first quilt design, and I certainly learned A LOT! I would definitely do a better job with the design on round two, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! Yes, I screwed up the bottom, but by the time I realized it, I had already sewn everything together. My stepmom says no quilt is ever perfect, so I’m trying to let it go!
